Tami Hoag at the World Equestrian Games
New York Times bestselling mystery writer Tami Hoag shared some of the mysteries of her life, her award-winning career and her life as a professional dressage rider during an educational seminar at the Draper Equine Therapy booth during the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Hoag serves on the Advisory Board for Draper Therapies, makers of therapeutic products for horses and riders.
Hoag has had 15 novels on the New York Times bestselling list including Dark Horse and Alibi Man, which are set in the equestrian world. Her most recent novel, Deeper Than The Dead, has a sequel called Secrets To The Grave, which will be released at the end of the year.
“We were thrilled with the opportunity to have Tami come by and visit Draper while at the World Equestrian Games. She is always a pleasure to talk to and is not only enthusiastic about her writing but she is just as passionate about horses,” said Kat Wojtylak, Product Manager of Draper Equine Therapy. “Tami spent time talking with attendees about her books, as well as her career in dressage. She has a wide range of information to talk about and captures everyone with her knowledge or with her wonderful writing style. Having Tami stop by meant a lot to us and solidifies why we have her as part of our Advisory Board.”
While Hoag has set the literary world on fire with her heart-stopping murder mysteries, she is also a dedicated dressage rider. She will be showing three of her horses, Lonestar, Bacchus de Light and Rush Hour 4, during the winter show circuit in Florida.
“Tami was gracious enough to leave a large amount of bookmarks in the booth for us to hand out to any customer who makes a purchase while visiting the World Equestrian Games,” Wojtylak said. “Tami just finished her new book which is due out December 28th and we’re all very excited for this new arrival on book store shelves.”
Hoag is a strong supporter of Draper Therapies products and wears the Ladies Mesh Fitted T-Shirt to help with pain in her shoulder, while her horses wear Stable Blankets and Anti-Sweat Sheets. Draper products are made with the innovative smart fiber Celliant™/Holofiber® and are proven to reduce pain, increase oxygen levels and help balance overall body temperature. “Celliant works with the energy released from the body and are designed to recycle this energy back to the body to improve health and overall well being of the wearer,” Wojtylak said.
Draper offers three complete lines of Celliant/Holofiber-enhanced products: Draper Body Therapy; Draper Equine Therapy; and Draper Canine Therapy. Draper Body Therapy offers products ranging from athletic gear to spa therapy, all offering the wonderful benefits of Celliant/Holofiber. The specific product line includes eye pillows, shoulder wraps, t-shirts, blankets, sport supports, sleep liners, socks and back belts. The Draper Equine Therapy line, designed to help horses build stamina and recover faster from exertion and injury, includes everything from leg wraps and blankets, to quarter sheets, hock boots and anti-sweat sheets. Complimentary to their other lines, Draper Canine Therapy offers smaller four-legged friends the same benefits in the form of beds, wraps, jackets and blankets.
