Week 7 of the Wellington Equestrian Festival

This past weekend was definitely filled with a lot of excitement and a non-stop schedule in Wellington, FL. Draper Therapies is an official sponsor of the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival which is the longest running event in horse sports, a 12-week equestrian extravaganza held annually from January through April at the newly renovated Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Each week is considered an individual horse show, with more than 10,000 exhibitors (horse owners, trainers, riders, support personnel) and up to 3,000 horses competing in any given week within 15 show rings throughout the 100-acre equestrian show complex. Draper Therapies has also been be sponsoring the “Best Foot Forward” Award throughout WEF which rewards horse and rider combination’s for not only their turnout in the ring, but also for a winning attitude.

As if there wasn’t enough excitement in the air, Draper Therapies is also sponsoring the major raffle at the Wellington Equestrian Festival which is rewarding one lucky horse with a prize package valued at $1,500.00. “Draped in Draper” will be outfitting an entire horse with the following Draper Equine Therapy products, One Stable Blanket, one Anti- Sweat Sheet, one Quarter Sheet, one Cooler, one Saddle Pad, two pairs of Recovery Wraps, two pairs of Pillow Wraps, two pairs of Polo Wraps, two pairs of Perfect Polos and one pair of Hock Boots.

One last stop in our weekend brought us to the newly built equine rehabilitation and therapy center on the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s show grounds, called the Sanctuary. Construction is still underway, but once completed, will offer a facility which keeps equine athletes in peak condition or helps them to recover and get back to competition that much faster. Draper Therapies has teamed up with the Sanctuary at PBIEC to offer their therapeutic products after their visit to help make treatments more effective and help to prolong results in between treatments.
