CAI Live Oak Combined Driving Event

The site of the Event is at Charlotte Weber’s pristine Live Oak Plantation, in Ocala, Florida, one of the South’s largest and most extensive Thoroughbred operations, spanning over 4,500 acres. Throughout the weekend, the Event will also feature a Pat Parelli demonstration and Classic Car Show.

The party will be buffet-style and it is being catered by Cody’s Roadhouse. The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center based in Ocala, FL has been treating top equine athletes with their state of the art equipment since their opening. They have been supporters of the Draper Therapies products for years and have recently launched a location in Wellington, FL which will be featuring the Draper Therapies products.
Also happening during the CAI Live Oak Combined Driving Event, 2008 Horse of the Year
Jamaica, the foundation of Chester Weber’s Four-in-Hand team that won Individual Silver at the 2008 FEI World Four-in-Hand Driving Championships, who came from the slaughter house to the world stage, will have his official retirement ceremony on March 27th. The 18-year-old Dutch gelding was initially bought to be a tourist carriage horse,
rescued on his way to the slaughter house. His refusal to stand still and be patient was the demise of that career but his tenacity and strength of character paid off when he landed in Weber’s stable. Chester Weber, the 2010 USEF National Four-In-Hand Driving Champion, 8 years in a row will not only be competing at the event, but will also be present during the ceremony. Chester Weber is an Advisory Board Member for Draper Equine Therapy and along with Jamaica is an avid user of the products. Jamaica will be presented with a special Anti-Sweat Sheet for his retirement ceremony.
