Draper Therapies Goes to Fieldstone Show Park to Host the MHJ Adult Medal Finals
Located only 28 miles south of Boston in Halifax, Massachusetts is Fieldstone Show Park (FSP). On 100 acres, this premier equestrian facility hosts 4 weeks of “AA” and 4 star rated USEF events with $500,000 worth of prizes and prize money each season. With five, all-weather rings, an all-grass Grand Prix field, new VIP and spectators area and vendor areas it is no wonder that FSP is one of the most recognizable equestrian facility in the Northeast. Among the events held include the $50,000 and $25,000 Grand Prix, Massachusetts Hunter Jumper Finals and the $25,000 Grand Prix Boston Strong Rider Bonus. Participants come from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas to compete in professional, junior and amateur events.
Fieldstone is also the home of the Massachusetts Hunter Jumper Association (MHJ) Finals. These are equitation championship classes in which the exhibitors are judged on position, style, and fluidity of their courses. Exhibitors must have qualified for these classes by competing in qualifying classes throughout the year for their respective divisions. This year, Draper Therapies will be sponsoring the young adult (ages 18-35) medal final. “We are very excited to be a part of this event”, says Draper Therapies product manager Becky Shipps. “Teams of horses and riders work hard to qualify and prepare for their end of the season finals and we are looking forward to cheering on and supporting these teams at the MHJ finals,” she adds.
FSP is also open to spectators of all ages who wish to watch the competitors. Tickets are only $5.00 on Wednesdays through Saturdays and $10.00 on Grand Prix Sundays with on-sire parking for only $5.00. Entertainment for spectators also includes a weekly BBQ blowout, vendor row, dog puissance and agility showcase. Four- legged friends are also welcome but are required to be on a leash at all times.
Come stop by and watch the excitement of show jumping and MHJ Finals August 20th through the 25th! Don’t forget to stop by the Draper Therapies booth and say hello!
